New travel health consultation platform launched by Nuumad for pharmacists and IPs
Nuumad, a new pharmacy services provider, is launching their travel health consultation platform today which promises to shorten consultation times to 20 minutes through an ultra user-friendly interface.

Judit Mora, CEO and co-founder Nick Batten, CTO have developed multiple successful projects in the pharmacy and pharmaceutical sectors and were behind the creation of Neva Travel Health among others, as well as having worked for another pharmacy services provider.
They have created Nuumad, a patented product (patent pending) with support from Innovate UK and Innovate UK Edge.
‘We wanted to look at what other industries are doing in terms of innovation and technology and bring those into the pharmacy sector. We believe that true innovation can help generate revenue for pharmacists and independent prescribers, which we can all agree is much needed in the current economic climate.’
The new platform, Nuumad, promises to support complex vaccine scheduling, ethical vaccine selection with clear patient risk profiles based on travel activities, with vaccine selection and vaccination supported by PGD-based decision guiding algorithms.
Comprehensive travel advice is also included - with all data coming from NaTHNaC via an API, meaning it’s always up to date. Other features include a ‘Cheat sheet’ which lets users refresh their memories about any diseases, vaccines or countries at a glance without having to find it elsewhere.
The platform can be used by pharmacists, nurses as well as independent prescribers - medical guidance is provided in a way that enables use without having the PGD at hand and allows for open decision making within the boundaries of guidelines.
Nuumad comes with a subscription-based payment model, with monthly and annual finance options customers can scale up and down as and when needed. Prices range from £85-£95 / month / user and also include access to a full set of travel health PGDs created by partners LK Consulting.
As a launch promotion, Nuumad is offering a second user for free for 12 months for all new purchases until the end of summer.
